I'm not usually a fan of books from CRC Press due their classroom slides style, but the book SAS and R shows the user how to convert basic and advanced code between, well, SAS and R.  Author's Kleinman and Horton have written thirteen sections in Chapter One focusing on data management alone, reason enough to purchase the book.  But, the authors then focus on statistics for the remainder of the book.  I recommend this book if you need to convert between SAS and R and will eventually be focusing on the statistical aspects of both languages.  To order this book from Amazon, click on this link:  SAS and R: Data Management, Statistical Analysis, and Graphics.
