If you are thinking about taking the Oracle SQL Certified Expert Exam 1Z0-047, don't even think about doing it without reading Steve O'Hearn's glorious book. I took the exam once without reading this book and I didn't pass the test. After reading this book, PASSED IT, OH YEAH BABY! The book also comes with a CD-ROM containing one full practice exam which is great if you've never taken one of these exams before. If you are planning on taking this test, I do have one recommendation: while taking the exam, answer the easy questions FIRST, skipping the more difficult questions until later. (You can mark the questions you skipped and come back to them in the exam interface.) Also, I skipped any question that contained an Entity-Relationship diagram or additional data on a second tab in the exam interface until later. This approach worked for me!! Good luck!
